Milton Academy
Milton Academy sought to enhance its admissions process by creating a video that would inspire newly accepted Lower and Middle School students to enroll. This initiative aimed to engage families emotionally while providing a warm, personalized introduction to the Milton community. Our goal was to create a dynamic video that not only resonated with students and families but also aligned with Milton’s mission and values.
1. Strategic Storytelling:
To create a personal and relatable narrative, we collaborated with Milton’s admissions team to identify key themes that would resonate with families. The video showcased the vibrant and welcoming community at Milton, highlighting student experiences and opportunities unique to the Lower and Middle Schools.
2. Creative Execution:
The voiceover, recorded by a Milton Academy high schooler, added authenticity and a sense of connection to the video. Through thoughtful scripting and dynamic visuals, we emphasized the journey students would embark on as part of the Milton family.
3. Adaptable Editing:
To maximize the video’s versatility, we designed the middle section to be easily interchangeable, allowing for a tailored version for both Lower and Middle School audiences. This ensured that each group received a video experience that felt personal and relevant.
This video played a pivotal role in driving record yield for accepted Lower and Middle School students, helping Milton Academy achieve its highest enrollment rates in history. Featured prominently during Revisit Day, the video set a welcoming tone and reinforced the school’s mission of community and opportunity. Our modular editing approach allowed the production of two distinct versions, tailored to different audiences, while optimizing time and resources. By aligning storytelling with strategic design, this project became a cornerstone of Milton Academy’s admissions success.
